Application To Defective Concrete Block Grant Scheme

On Wednesday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Dr. Martina Cleary, from Crusheen, founder of the Clare Pyrite Action Group, and Michelle Mansfield, a Sixmilebridge resident affected by pyrite. Clare had been fighting to be included in the pyrite redress scheme, with the Clare Pyrite Group and Clare County Council all leading the formulating of the application. The Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme is currently only open to Counties Mayo and Donegal and covers a maximum of 90% of remediation costs.
