Description
We spoke on the show yesterday to Muriel Cuddy from Health Screening Ireland who is calling for the roll out of antigen testing in an effort to combat the problems with waits for PCR tests and the problems we’re seeing in classrooms with students being sent home for being a close contact. 70,000 people under the age of 18 were tested for Covid-19 last week. A total of 177,000 tests were carried out - with between 19,000 and 31,000 every day. Our own Ronan Quirke and Dermot Twomey president of The Irish Pharmacy Union joined Alison this morning for the conversation.
