Anthology Explores Experiences Of Black Midwesterners

The Midwest is often believed to be extremely white and lacking racial diversity. But Black Americans have a long, rich history in the Midwest. A new anthology highlights the experiences of Black Midwesterners and how they’ve been left out of the stories our culture tells about the region.
