Another woman dies from singer Asake’s London concert disaster

<p>Another woman was pronounced dead after sustaining injuries in a crush outside Nigerian afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake’s London concert on Thursday.</p>, <p>This is coming days after the stampede abruptly ended Asake’s concert claimed its first victim.</p>, <p>At the same time, a 21-year-old third victim remains in the hospital fighting for her life.</p>, <p>The police in the British capital stated that the deceased, 23-year-old Gabrielle Hutchinson, who was on the security team for the event as a contractor, died in the early hours of Monday.</p>, <p>Also confirming her death, Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, in charge of the investigation, in his condolences to Gabrielle’s family, described her death as “devastating news.”</p>, <p>It was reported that all three women were in the foyer of the building in south London when they were critically injured in the stampede.</p>, <p>Scotland Yard detectives have been scouring security camera and mobile phone footage to establish what caused the crush and to see if any crime was committed.</p>, <p>Recall that Asake had, in a public statement on Instagram, said he was “devastated” and “overwhelmed with grief”, after the first death on Saturday.</p>, <p>The singer forcefully ended his sold-out performance at the O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday after many followers who did not have tickets attempted to force access to the venue.</p>
