Another Windy Hot Day; Cooler Some Scattered Rain Chances Tue/Wed; Hot Again Thu/Fri; Cooler w/Some Better Rain Chances Over the Weekend

<p>Today gusty south-southwesterly flow will push highs into the upper 90’s as a upper-level trough approaches from the west and shoves the ridge that produced the 100-degree heat the past several days eastward.  Tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday a trough swings a cool front through bringing temps down into the mid to upper 80’s and brings some chances for scattered evening storms.  Thursday and Friday ridging redevelops over the area as high-pressure builds over TX/OK panhandles New Mexico and will keep some isolated late day evening storms in forecast Thursday, but they are hit and miss as we warm back into the upper 90’s.  Friday remains hot with a front and trough moving in overnight with cooler air and storm chances.   </p>
