Amnesty warns of escalating jihadist violence in Burkina Faso

<p>Security forces and armed groups are committing war crimes against civilians in Burkina Faso, according to the NGO Amnesty International. Its report: "Death was slowly creeping on us: Living under siege in Burkina Faso" focuses on crimes against civilians in many parts of the country. Burkina Faso has undergone two military coups, the most recent in September 2022.</p>
