<p>Civil Procedure Rules: Amendment of Pleadings &nbsp;Parties are bound by their pleadings, and they are not allowed to raise any points which are not stated in their pleadings. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Therefore, the parties are allowed to amend their pleadings, to prevent miscarriage of justice:-&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;(a) Before close of pleadings (as of right); and&nbsp;</p> <p>(b) After close of pleadings (with the leave of court).</p>
