Jesus is the Word, So Keep your Eyes on His Words  <br/> <br/>Heb 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of ​our​ faith <br/> <br/>● Looking – undivided attention, looking away from all distractions in <br/>order to fix ones attention on one object <br/>● The main way Satan gets his fear into us is through our mind gates <br/>  <br/>2. ​How in the World am I Supposed to Control My Thoughts?  <br/> <br/>2 Cor 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty <br/>through God to the pulling down of strong holds ​Casting down <br/>imaginations (arguments) and every high thing that exalts itself against ​<br/>the knowledge of God, and ​bringing into captivity every thought to the <br/>​ obedience of Christ (we are to arrest every word that doesn’t line up)  <br/> <br/>● The enemy knows if you lose in your thought life, you will lose <br/> <br/>1 Pet 5:7-9 ​Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you Be <br/>sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a <br/>roaring lion seeking whom he may devour Resist him steadfast in faith  <br/> <br/>● When we remove a fear filled thought, we replace it with the word  <br/> <br/>Ps 112:1,7 Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in <br/>His commands. He will not be afraid of bad news His heart is steadfast, <br/>trusting in the Lord. ​His heart is established; He will not be afraid <br/> <br/>Is 40:8 ​The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God <br/>stands forever.” <br/> <br/>3. ​Don’t Take Satan’s Thoughts of Fear By Speaking Them, but Say What <br/>Jesus Says <br/> <br/>Matt 6:​31 ​Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat?  <br/> <br/>● This is not a suggestion this is a command  <br/>● The mind cannot think one thing while speaking something different  <br/> <br/>Rom 10:16-17​ But they have not all obeyed the gospel (good news).
