Alexandre Aja on Oxygen and the new wave of incredible foreign language films

<p>There was a time when anything with subtitles was considered far too intellectual and posh for mainstream consumption - but thanks in part to the meteoric rise in the fantastic <a href="https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/100394" target="_blank">Scandi-Noir</a> genre, we now think nothing of settling down and applying a bit more concentration.</p><p>This is rewarded with some incredible viewing. Imagine a world without '<a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/81128579" target="_blank">The Platform</a>', '<a href="https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/80192098">Money Heist</a>', '<a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/80994082" target="_blank">Lupin</a>' and now...
