<p>Amanda served in the Air Force for six years as a Civil Engineer including a combat deployment to Afghanistan. When her first son was born, she traded in her combat boots for a diaper bag to stay home with her son.</p> <p>Shortly after leaving the military, she began her blog <a href= "http://www.airmantomom.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Airman to Mom</a> as a creative outlet for her to share her experiences.
