Acts 9:20-43 - Prog 33

Now in Acts 9:20-43, we see a plot formed against Saul because of his outspoken declaration of Jesus as the Son of God and the Messiah. Here is a demonstration of one whose first love is made evident in bold proclamation of the person and work of Jesus Christ. Moving from Damascus to Jerusalem, Saul is not initially received by the believers there. So Barnabas takes Saul by hand to introduce him to the apostles in Jerusalem, where he previously persecuted. So the unbelieving Jews formed a plot against Saul.The brothers then sent Paul away. Now Peter comes into view who is used of God to bring healing to a sick man again. Those who heard, believed in Christ. Then he is used to raise a woman from the dead so many here also believed in the Lord.
