Acts 3:9-18 - Prog 16

The Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast continues in Acts 3:1. Luke brings out the witness of the power of God to heal a man born lame. He was lame from birth meaning he had never walked so he had never learned to walk. Although the lame man had been hoping for a hand out, Peter informed him that they were short on funds, having neither silver or gold. Then Peter said, such as I do have I give to you. Peter reaching down, taking hold of the man’s hand commanded him in the name of Jesus of Nazareth to stand up and walk, and he did and this man didn’t even need any therapy or instruction on how to walk. Such was God’s power to heal him. This demonstration of power to heal authenticated Peter’s message of the resurrection of Christ.
