Description
Our study begins in Acts 26:24. The apostle Paul gave the gospel to the Roman authorities, both Festus and King Agrippa. It proved to be too much for Festus,so he accuses Paul of being out of his mind. Paul responds, "I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus; but I declare words of truth and rationality." Then, Paul, bold enough to address the King himself, says, "King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do believe." The King seemed almost "...persuaded to become a christian". Dr. Mitchell notes: Is the king being sarcastic or is he being serious? After this, the authorities rose up and went out saying to one another, "This man might have been set at liberty if he had not appealed to Caesar. In Acts 26:24, here is Dr. Mitchell.
