Description

In our study, we see the Apostle Paul in the Jerusalem church, sharing what God had done in his ministry. He is then encouraged to demonstrate his obedience to the law by going to the temple to fulfill the days of purification and it’s accompanying offerings. Paul’s motive was right on as he had previously written in 1Cor.9:20 that “to the Jews he became a Jew and to those under the law as one under the law, though not being myself under the law, that I might win those under the law. I have become all things to all people that I might save some.” But, some of the unbelieving Jews made accusation against Paul built on a “supposition”. Here is a warning once again to check one’s supposition when making bold statements.
