Our study in Acts continues in chapter 20 verse 21. Dr. Mitchell takes up the theme of Paul’s ministry. In 1Cor.2:1-5, Paul determined to know nothing among them, but Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ is the over arching theme of his entire ministry. He preached repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to both Jews and Gentiles, to those of low position and to those of high position. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You and I who have heard the gospel of the grace of God and placed our faith in Christ, God gives assurance of eternal life.
