Description
Our study in Acts 15 begins with verse 14 with James, the Lord’s brother reading scripture, Amos 9:11-12, to ratify the conclusion that the Gentiles should not be hindered from being saved by the same grace of God that these Jewish apostles and believers had been saved. Dr. Mitchell points out that these scriptures prove that the gentiles are to be saved before the Lord’s return, so do not hinder them now. For their testimony’s sake, the gentiles were asked to abide by a few restrictions which seemed good to the Holy Spirit and the apostles. So, Paul and Barnabas and others went back to the church in Antioch to report these things. And the church rejoiced because of it’s encouragement. With our Bibles open to Acts 15:14, here is encouragement from Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
