Acts 15:1-19 - Prog 45

After the two missionaries returned from their 1st gospel outreach, Paul and Barnabas are now sent from the church in Antioch to Jerusalem concerning a brewing controversy over the truth of the Gospel. The question was: Do gentiles need to become Jews and be circumcised in order to be saved by faith in Christ? Do the christian gentiles need to obey the law of Moses? Dr. Mitchell will go into depth on this issue. He asks, “Why should we be occupied with Moses when we have Christ?” Salvation from sin has always been and still is by grace thru faith in what God has revealed. In this age and dispensation of grace, God’s revelation is the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Simply, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
