Acts 1:1-11 - See Your Reigning King

Did you know that in the Bible the devil is also called the king of this world? This certainly doesn't mean that his power supersedes God in this world, but it means that the devil is restricted to this realm. The devil wants the same for you, he wants to restrict you to this world. He doesn't want you to enjoy the spiritual, heavenly, eternal blessings that Jesus has secured for you. But Jesus does. He wants you to know what it means that he ascended his throne. It gives us comfort in this life and the next. It also gives us a wonderful purpose to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
