Action On Derelict Sites Forecast To Have Major Impact On Clare Housing Supply

Clare County Council claims the refurbishment of derelict units in the county will have a major impact on future housing supply. Since last May, 43 applicants in this county have sought a rennovation grant with the intention of making their property available for the rental market. Additionally the local authority has confirmed plans for a number of social housing developments stemming from relevant compulsory purchase orders.
