Acting A New Start Pt 7

<p>Hello and a lovely Sunday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>We are still talking about acting your new start and the place of courage and taking courageous actions.&nbsp;</p> <p>Esther 4: 16 (TLB) says "16 “Go and gather together all the Jews of Shushan and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day; and I and my maids will do the same; and then, though it is strictly forbidden, I will go in to see the king; and if I perish, I perish".</p> <p>After Mordecai sent a message to Esther about her need to act courageously and take action in defence of the Jews who are going to be killed if they didn't do anything. Esther gave the reasons why she couldn't go, but later she rose up to the challenge to act courageously.</p> <p>She said you know what I &nbsp;need you to do, go gather all my family and all the Jews.</p> <p>I need you to gather them to pray and to fast for me. I will tell the ladies that work with me in the palace to do the same.</p> <p>After three days, I will go in to see the king and I will put this request before him, he would either listen to me and do something about it or I may die but I am not scared to die if I perish, I perish.</p> <p>You know Joyce Meyer wrote a book titled "Do It afraid" that is , you might be afraid there, may be things scary in the midst of what you are doing but do it all the same. And do it courageously.</p> <p>A lot of times when we are taking bold actions, It is important we understand that we need something I will call "Boosters". Things to boost our confidence, things to boost our courage. In the story of Esther we see a few things :</p> <p>1. She says "Go and fast for me" she knew she needed divine help, she knew she could not do it on her own, she knows she needed God's help. On her own, she was hopeless and helpless.</p> <p>2. She had a group of people she could rely on. She had people among the Jews, she had people in her palace that could fast for her.</p> <p>Do you have people that can stand with you?</p> <p>Do you believe that there
