Acting A New Start Pt 3

<p>Hello and a lovely Wednesday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>We are still talking about acting a new start, the courage to add courage, the courage is to act even in the face of opposition.</p> <p>It's not just enough to take actions, you can take action in fear, but it is important to act courageously.</p> <p>So what exactly is courage? courage is that daring, audacious, confident, bold attitude even in the face of fear. We'll always have things that we're scared of and there are always things that will challenge us but courage is the ability to act in a daring way, in an audacious way, in a bold and courageous way in spite of the opposition, in spite of the things of the things that we fear and that's what we see Ruth doing in this passage. With everything that the mother-in-law told her, Ruth had made her decision. Ruth stayed with her decision and she acted out on it courageously. She saw her sister-in-law (Orpah) go back yet it changed nothing. Wow! That is what you call courage.</p> <p>Remember the story of the children of Israel in the book of Numbers 13, God had sent them out to spy the land and they came back with the prosperous details of the land in which everyone was rejoicing about and next they mentioned the challenges they saw as well and conclusively said " we can not take the land", and the Bible says they gave an evil report to the company of Israel and everybody was discouraged.&nbsp;</p> <p>By the time we go to chapter 14, Caleb and Joshua told them "listen, we can take the land", why? God said we can and if God says we can, irrespective of the opposition, irrespective of the challenges, let us take action, let us move. By the time we go to Numbers 14 vs 24, God described the spirit working in Caleb. He called it a different spirit, a courageous, bold and confident spirit.&nbsp;</p> <p>There is an attitude, there is a spirit that inspires, that releases courage, it's called the different spirit and that's what God wants us to have, that in spite of what is happening, God is sayi
