ACOB #15 / Car on Fire, Scam Artists, Poor Customer Service

Her car ( 2017 Ford fiesta) center console / gear shift just caught fire and it's possible it'll be totaled out. We'll find out sometime in the next week.<br><br>She's on dialysis and needs a vehicle to get around to her appointments while the insurance gets things together.<br>What happened?<br>Just a normal day and no prior issues. No knocking, stalling, nothing. She parked her car at home and after an hour she tried leaving for the grocery store. Her glass was foggy and when she tried to open the door the air bags went off and a cloud of smoke came out the car doors.<br>&#160;After it cleared the middle section was completely gone. She called the fire department just in case.<br>They couldn't figure out what caused it but made a guess that it was the transmission. And here we are.<br><br>Thank you for reading.
