Aaron Frumin Founder of aUncommon Construction is teaching and paying high school students to build house in New Orleans.

<p>Aaron Frumin is a carpenter by trade and Founder of Uncommon Construction. Aaron studied attended University of California Davis and graduated from Tulane University. &nbsp;He worked in construction in Nevada and this planted the seed for Uncommon Construction.</p> <p>UnCommon Construction uses the build process to empower youth with the skills, network, resources, and experience to lead the workforce after high school.&nbsp;</p> <p>At unCommon Construction, youth from different high schools apply to join a diverse team to earn hourly pay and school internship credit for building a house in a semester. With the revenue from each project, apprentices also earn a matching "Equity Award Scholarship" for further education, industry certifications or the tools needed for long-term employment.
