A Sense of a Foreshortened Future

<p>In this episode, Casey dives into the DSM IV PTSD symptom of "a sense of foreshortened future". Although we now have the DSM V, there are still some interesting components to this feature. That thought of what keeps us from being able to make goals, plan for future events, or even take care of our current needs- that thought that nothing will work out for us anyways. Those are only some of the criteria that make up the symptom of the sense of a foreshortened future. On an ending note, there is discussion on some ways to begin to reframe this thought process. </p>
