A Road to Recovery with Amberley Lago

<p>In this episode, we interviewed author, TedX speaker, and movement and mindset coach, Amberley Lago. Amberley shares her story of how she survived being hit by an SUV followed by more than 30 surgeries. This event caused her to enter a state of depression and suicidal thoughts. She spoke on how she was able to switch her mindset through various outlets, including writing out her feelings and things she's grateful for, as well as having an accountability partner. Amberley also expressed how reaching out to others and having a sense of purpose has aided in her recovery and changed her life. We then switch the conversation and talk about The PACER Method, which Amberley speaks on in her TedX: perspective, acceptance, community, endurance, and rest.
