A professor, prenup and getting selected for a ride to space

<p>As a kid Jim Kitchen dreamed of going to space as an astronaut. Decades later, he’s not an astronaut, but he is <a href= "https://contentmanager.spectrumlocalnews.com/content/news/stories/2022/03/17/u/unc-professor-to-travel-to-space-next-week-with-snl-star-pete-davidson.html">headed to space</a> as a private citizen on Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin. </p> <p>The UNC professor joins us to talk about how he was selected, all the fascinating stories of what he’s taking with him for the ride and why a prenup with his now wife 25 years ago is playing out with this trip. </p> <p>He is also likely the first person ever to visit all 193 recognized countries and take a ride in space.</p> <p>Wait until you hear about all of his travels and the number one spot he would tell you to visit.
