This is an important topic for me because acne actually led me to naturopathic medicine because I struggled with it so much in high school.  Acne is not treated properly in western medicine. Acne comes from the gut so if you are skipping that piece and just treating the skin, you are missing the whole root of the problem.  </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We share and go in-depth into the naturopathic approach to treating acne. The naturopathic approach is a whole different view of acne all about focusing on the root cause. The root cause of acne is gut dysfunction, so in order to properly treat it, we need to test and treat the gut.
