A long and surprising history

Episode 1 - The Bo-Kaap is a popular tourist destination in Cape Town with a rich history that is widely shared with visitors. It survived Apartheid when other neighbourhoods in the City centre saw their black residents moved to outlying suburbs, but how that happened illustrates how manipulative the Apartheid system was.
