Wednesday 31st March  A lovely Wednesday to you in the name of Jesus. Today is the last day of the month of March and we are grateful to God for his help and grace that have kept us. We pray that God who has kept us this far will continue to keep us all through the year in Jesus’ name. God has designed your life to bring glory and honour to His name. You are a living testimony regardless of your current circumstances. You are a winner. When I think of the many challenges I’ve had to deal with and how I responded to them, I can truly say that God has been faithful. My responses were not perfect, I remember times when I asked such questions as “God why me?” But through It all God has always come through for me. So armed with this understanding, when I face challenging situations today, I can rest and trust God’s faithfulness. As long as we are in this world, life’s test and trials will keep coming., that’s the simple reality. However, having experienced God’s intervention in the past, we can count on His faithfulness in the present and future. Luke 1:46-49 (NLT), 46 Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. 47 How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! 48 For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed. 49 For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me. In this passage we see Mary responding with faith to a prophesy given by Isaiah about 700 years before. She took a big risk in believing despite all the immediate consequences, which included being stoned to death. Even Joseph, her fiancé could not understand what was happening at that time. His initial plan was to separate from her quietly but that would have exposed her unnecessarily.  Mary stood her ground in faith and God stood with her. Today, generations after her still call her blessed. Her light affliction worked out an eternal weight
