Sunday 28th March

A beautiful Sunday to you in the name of Jesus.

God has designed everyone to be a living testimony and when we allow Jesus take the Lordship of our lives, we really begin the journey with Him at our side.

One of the thing God frowns at is judging people, especially based on their past. When we judge people it’s easy for us to condemn those that God hasn’t condemned. Guilt and condemnation have no place in the lives of God’s people. God doesn’t even want you bringing yourself under guilt and condemnation. When we give room to guilt and condemnation, we give the devil the liberty to oppress us and usually we don’t rest it because we believe “we are suffering for our sins”

With what Jesus did for us on the cross, we have no right to stay under guilt and condemnation anymore nor should we hold people’s past against them when God has exonerated them

Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho, but in her prostitution, she still had some regard for God. She protected God’s people when the came to spy the land of Jericho and that singular act changed the course of her forever. Let’s see some things the bible say about this great woman.

Joshua 6:25 (NLT), 25 So Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute and her relatives who were with her in the house, because she had hidden the spies Joshua sent to Jericho. And she lives among the Israelites to this day.

Hebrew 11:31 (NLT), 31 It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed with the people in her city who refused to obey God. For she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

Rahab the prostitute’s life changed so much that she was among those commended for their faith in Hebrews 11. She even went on to be listed in the lineage of Jesus.

Matthew 1:5 (NLT), Salmon was the father of Boaz (whose mother was Rahab). Boaz was the father
