A Hard Day's Night

<p>Beatlemania exploded in 1964 thanks in part to this strange film by Richard Lester that gave us a peak into the lives of the Beatles for 36 hours.  It's not a documentary.  It's not a mockumentary.  It's a genuine work of art imitating some twisted version of life.  We Skype with Ian Simmons (with fucked up audio on Jer's end) to talk about "A Hard Day's Night" starring the Fab Four, Norman Rossington, and Wilfrid Brambell as Paul's fictitious grandfather, since after all, he's entitled to two.</p>
