Allen Schwartz is a people’s artist and musician. He is a founder of the Newark Think Tank on Poverty in Licking County. There are now associated think tanks on poverty in three, going on four, central Ohio counties. He has had a fifty year career as a community organizer and educator in Seattle, Chicago, and Ohio. Mona Abhari is a youth organizer in Columbus and Newark, Ohio and an artist. Her personal experiences as a working-class, Palestinian American woman fuel her art, movement work, and relational organizing, and helps ground her in building a better world.
