<p>It was the closure of the Tour de France for the men and the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for the women’s peloton in Paris. The Tour de France Femmes got underway in stunning style under the Eiffel Tower as Lorena Wiebes claimed the stage and the covered yellow jersey. In the mens it was in form sprinter Jasper Phillipson who claimed his second stage for the 2022 Tour de France.
