A Charge to Remain in God’s Love - Jude 20-21

Beginning in verse seventeen, Jude began a series of final charges to his readers which he addressed as beloved (agapētós) in verse seventeen and again in verse twenty. Pastor Jude’s use of beloved (agapētós) displays his sacrificial, fatherly love for his sheep. Knowing the danger of the false teachers and writing out of sacrificial, fatherly love, Jude charged the beloved to remember the apostolic word and the false teachers, in verses seventeen through nineteen. Now in Jude 20-21, Jude charges believers to grow in God’s love.
