<p>Australia's $90 Billion contract for 12 French Sub's has long been called folly, that the vessels themselves will be obsolete the day they enter service. &nbsp;Defence secretary Greg Moriarty has recently confirmed his department is looking at alternatives to the French-designed submarines in case the troubled contract is sunk.
