<p>This week I am joined by <b>Ryan McCarthy,</b></p><p>Growing up on the streets of Liverpool in the UK, Ryan experienced drugs, alcohol and violence from a young age which led him down a dark path of substance abuse and always being on edge. He had no outlet to express his emotions so learnt just to mask his pain. His 18th birthday came and he decided to stop and make a change in his life which isn&apos;t an easy decision to make when you are addicted to substances. Ryan is now based on the Sunshine Coast and has created his business called The Mental Health Experience to help youth going through rough situations.
