95 – Murray Ferguson – Farming Undercover

<p>This week in our Harvest 2020 market report Andrew has the latest views and news on the market.</p><br><p>Next up, is the first of a two part interview, with our oldest farmer Murray Ferguson who is on the cusp of 90 and still going strong. Andrew quizzes him on his thoughts of Covid-19 and Murray sets this current situation against the bombings he endured in the second world war as a teenager in Sheffield. He recalls VE day and several close calls.&nbsp;</p><br><p>Murray then goes on to tell us about being recruited for the secret service, which involved a cover job of working on a farm which sowed the seed for a love of farming, even after the more exciting element of the job finished after five years.&nbsp;</p><br><p>Part two of this interview will be next week.</p><br><p>This week we are promoting the NWRFU Minis who have a get together on 1st August from 1030 from 1230 at the club.
