<p>   D Block,  played college basketball for the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kansas_Jayhawks_men%27s_basketball'>University of Kansas</a> for four seasons, including the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Basketball_Tournament'>2008 national championship team</a>. He become a regular <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starting_lineup'>starter</a> at Kansas the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007-08_Kansas_Jayhawks_men%27s_basketball_team'>2007–08 season</a> (his senior year), when he replaced <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sasha_Kaun'>Sasha Kaun</a> in the starting lineup.</p> <p> Jackson was selected as the 52nd overall pick in the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NBA_draft'>2008 NBA draft</a> by the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Heat'>Miami Heat</a> on June 26. He was traded to the Cavaliers on the same day.  Jackson was signed by the team on September 6, 2008.</p> <p>On this episode D Jack lets us know how he almost never returned back to Kansas after suffer a huge tragic loss of a family member.   This is one of the best inspirational interviews I have done thus far!  He also talks about playing with a young King James!</p>
