9.22: There's a Special Rest Prepared for the People of God

<p>If you’re anything like me — or any other human &nbsp;on earth — you’re tired and weary of the coronavirus, the election, &nbsp;politics in general, fires, hurricanes, the recession, unemployment, &nbsp;uncertainty, hey, even 2020! To be honest, Jesus can come for His &nbsp;born-again believers right now and I’d be thrilled to be with Him in &nbsp;eternal rest in heaven (that’s the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/04/21/what-is-the-rapture-can-it-happen-tomorrow/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">rapture</a>). Obviously, He still has work for us to do here on earth. God wants to fill up <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/09/10/the-hope-of-eternal-life-in-heaven-through-jesus/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">heaven</a>. That’s going to be our eternal resting place.</p> <h2>Jesus told us…</h2> <blockquote>“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29&nbsp;Take my yoke upon you. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2&nbsp;There &nbsp;is more than enough room in my Father’s home.
