9.16: Are You Off the Right Road Going in the Wrong Direction?

<p>Apostasy — that’s when people turn away from the &nbsp;true faith. It’s when they are deceived by charismatic preachers who &nbsp;paint pretty pictures that are outside of the gospel truth. Follow them &nbsp;and they will lead to you to the path of destruction. It was predicted &nbsp;by Jesus that in the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/09/03/revealing-the-prophecies-of-the-last-days-when-the-world-ending/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">last days</a>, &nbsp;people would fall for deceptive ways — turning away from what the Bible &nbsp;says. They either water-down the gospel to make everyone feel good or &nbsp;add to it. “Oh, it really doesn’t mean that,” they would say and then &nbsp;invent something that people want to hear. Jesus told us…</p> <blockquote>Matthew 24:10-12 NLT10&nbsp;And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11&nbsp;And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12&nbsp;Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.<br> </blockquote> <p>I witnessed this in both the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/08/18/urgent-warning-escape-from-catholicism-now-and-run-to-jesus/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Roman Catholic Church</a> and in the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2019/09/15/still-seeking-truth-love-and-surviving-hurricanes/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Progressive Church</a>.
