Radon-222 is a byproduct of decayed Uranium. The products of radon - known as Radon Decay Products or RDPs - are highly carcinogenic. In fact, Lung cancer from Radon is the 3rd most deadly cancer. It is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer; the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. Testing for radon, no matter where you are or what type of home you have, is incredibly important.
