This week's interview with Monja Meyer just SHOOK me.

I am a self-proclaimed productivity MASTER and here I discover in so many areas of my life I'm still holding myself back and "perfecting" it's the art of procrastination for entrepreneurs.

In today's episode I really break it down:

14:08 - 14:21

“In anything you do in life, life also happens at the same pace that everything you are unfolding and planning and creating and life will still throw you curve balls all the time and you just have to allow that to be a thing.”

14:31- 14:35

“You have to allow space for whatever is going to happen to just be fine.”

21:57 - 22:27

“When I uncover something curious about myself that I didn't see before I spend a lot of time in reflection. On how does it make me feel to know this about myself now? How does it make me feel going forward? Where am I exhibiting this behavior in my life where I would like to be more intentional about and go slower in so I don't keep perpetuating this behavior that I am not really a fan of.”

25:31- 26:01

“Discipline sometimes is just being where you are at and staying there and being there and just sitting down to take 5 minutes on your couch to do a reflection or to meditate. Yes you are not exerting yourself in a painful kind of way but you're disciplining yourself enough to just sit and that is really beautiful and that's still a form of discipline when it's not really hard.”

26:24 - 26:37

“Drop your expectation around everything including the things that you think are making you better and analyse what is actually going to serve you in any of those moments.”

28:04 - 28:29

“I actively step into growth everyday. I intentionally step into growth everyday and sometimes that growth means just letting it be easy or Just Staying still or just taking a break, that is growth too. And it takes discipline in order to stay in those moments and that is everything.”
