767. Epstein-Barr Virus and MS

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Researchers are pretty certain they’ve found the cause of multiple sclerosis. MS is an autoimmune disorder and it's much more common today than it ever used to be. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The researchers have shown that Epstein-Barr, a common type of the herpes virus, is what triggers MS. The virus essentially primes the immune system to start attacking the body’s nervous system.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The herpes virus is latent in your system, meaning it’s dormant, and it will only raise its ugly head when your immune system is not working properly.
