I initially learned about fluoride’s mechanism of action the very first month i was in dental school, and honestly, my professor Dr. Metz gave me an incredible basis. But then sadly, that was really the last I heard of it. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluoride is actually an incredible chemical. It has revolutionized dentistry. I think fluoride is to dentistry what vaccines are to modern medicine.
