Amanda is joined by Diane Stevens and Eileen Smith, two members of the Jane Collective, which worked to provide abortion care and support to women in Chicago when the procedure was illegal in the years preceding Roe vs. Wade. They discuss their reactions to Supreme Court draft opinion overturning abortion rights and how the world of "illegal" abortion will look similar in 2022 as it did in 1972 and how it will be very different. the directors of the documentary "The Janes," based on this period, also join to discuss sober parallels to our current moment.
