There is a distance between being that person you envision and who you are today. Often times, Elizabeth shares, people assume that Time + Hardwork = Freedom. This just isn’t the case. We need to be much more intentional. Making sure that the vision is solid is important, but being sure that you’re building and generating a business model that supports that vision. If you want to be in a place where you can create a passive income, you need to build a system that allows for that. If we drown in the day-to-day, though, it can burn us out. In general, it’s important to remember that you should never stretch yourself to the point where you are putting your business at risk. She recommends taking a look at what takes up the most space in your head. Even if a task theoretically can take only a few moments, it can eat up your attention. At some point, you need to spend money to make money, and that means investing in a team to support you. Additionally, investing in things that will move the needle in your business.
