62-year-old singer Salawa Abeni unveils third husband

<p>Salawa Abeni, veteran Nigerian musician, has unveiled her third husband, Rasheed Adahunse.</p>, <p>Adahunse, who is the comptroller and commandant of the Customs Training College, celebrated his retirement and birthday party in Lagos over the weekend.</p>, <p>Speaking at the event, Abeni said: “I don’t have many words to utter other than to thank God. I will just say a bit about my dearest husband.</p>, <p>“You have retired but not tired, as God joined us together as husband and wife four years ago, I pray you will live long and have abundance.</p>, <p>“You saw me as a musician and I saw you then as a complete ‘English’ man, but love conquered all. I have not chosen wrongly.”</p>, <p>Abeni also shared a video of her performance at the event on her Instagram page, congratulating Adahunse on his retirement and birthday celebration.</p>, <p>She wrote, “Congratulations on your retirement and birthday celebration, comptroller Rasheed Agbolade Adahunse.”</p>, <p>The couple reportedly tied the knot four years ago.</p>
