<p>In the middle of an important conversation, you can be doing many things. One of the most important things you should be doing is listening. Not halfway listening while texting, thinking about all the other things you wish you were doing, or any other number of things that may distract you from the speaker's words. But, actively and intentionally listening to the person with whom you are conversing. Such listening is not always easy.
