<p>What’s the emotional toll of frequent moves during childhood & teenhood? For us, moving to different schools meant we had to be comfortable with the unknown and adapt to our new situations. It meant leaving our established lives behind, including the close friends that we made and the teachers and school we got to know. It meant starting our lives over - having to make new friends, face new challenges, and adjust to our new surroundings.
