61 - Soon I won't be a Councillor

<p>In this episode, I read through my letter to the community letting them know I am not running in the up coming council elections. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>It may come as a shock to some, to others this is not unexpected, but I announce that I will not be contesting the next Wyndham City Council election. After October I will no longer be a Councillor. &nbsp;</p> <p>I started with the fact I put family first, which is why I am not contesting council. Managing a full time job, and being the Dad of a special needs kid with ever increasing challenges means the role of councillor is something that is not sustainable. &nbsp;To those that have supported me in the past. Firstly, thank you. I’d also say, I am a fighter, and I do not need to be a councillor to fight for justice.
